What we collect — and what we don't
SGDadBuilds is a free tool for an anxious decision. We built it to respect you: no logins, no cookies, no selling data, no creepy tracking. Here is exactly what happens when you use it, in plain English.

No cookies, no cross-site tracking
This site sets no cookiesand stores nothing on your device to identify you. We don't use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, ad networks, or any third-party tracker. Nothing follows you to other sites. That's why you won't see a cookie banner — there's nothing to consent to.
Privacy-friendly analytics
To understand how the tool is used, we run our own analytics (Umami), self-hosted on our own server — your data is never handed to a third party. It is cookieless and counts things in aggregate: pages viewed, rough visitor numbers, which country a visit came from, and which features get used (for example, how often the “schools near me” button is tapped, or how many people look at a given school).
What it does not collect: your name, your IP address (used briefly to estimate country, then discarded — never stored), the actual address or postcode you type, your GPS coordinates, or anything that identifies you personally. We can see that a search happened, not who searched or from where.
Repeat visitor tracking
To tell whether a visitor is new or returning, your browser stores a random identifier in local storage (not a cookie). This is not your name, email, address, or any personal data — just a random string that lets us count how many people come back over time.
You can clear this identifier at any time by clearing your browser's site data or local storage. No accounts, no logins, and nothing leaves your device until we aggregate the count.
Your location stays on your device
When you search an address or tap “use my location”, that lookup happens to place a pin on the map and find nearby schools. The address and coordinates are used in your browser for that purpose and are not sent to our analytics or stored by us. (Address search is powered by Singapore's official OneMap service to convert what you type into a map point.)
Feedback (only if you choose to send it)
If you use the feedback button, what you write — and a screenshot, if you attach one — is sent to us so we can fix and improve the tool. Email is optional and we ask for it only if you want a reply; if you provide it, we use it solely to respond to your feedbackand for nothing else. We never sell it or add you to a mailing list. If you'd like your feedback or email removed, contact us and we'll delete it.

Questions or requests
Want to know more, or want something deleted? Use the feedback button on the map and we'll help. This is a small independent tool — a real person reads it.
